Repair
When the window won’t stay open, start with the operating hardware.
A hard-to-lift sash or one that won’t hold its position usually points to a failed balance. Replacement balances compatible with the window — regular or impact — can restore normal operation without touching the frame or glass.
Balances can hold spring tension. We don’t recommend removing them yourself.
New installation
When you want a new impact window, that’s a different project.
Installation replaces the entire unit, and it follows its own sequence.

Yes. We use balance components matched to the window’s design.
